Challenged by both the specialised nature of what they do i.e. usually one off design project work, the mix of manufacturing processes, and the company's continued growth and evolution [thereby requiring improved systems and processes to further their efficiencies and effectiveness] this is a great opportunity for a proactive and commercially savvy Production Manager looking for a new stimulating work environment. You will be responsible for leading, managing and coaching the production team to achieve the company's overall production objectives and meet all customer and company requirements. This will entail: ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction, on time and in full product / project delivery, working effectively with all internal customers to ensure a cohesive company approach, proactive development and continuous improvement of all systems and processes within this area, and managing the business aspects of each project as it pertains to production costs etc.
With a successful track record as a Production Manager within the metal fabrication sector, you will demonstrate : strong people and leadership skills, understand the challenges of a design and metal fabrication business, good planning skills, and possess excellent communication skills driving a collaborative and team based culture.
